Continue my post. Notepad++ is supported with different languages, including Chinese, Spanish, Russian, German, Polish, Dutch, French, Hungarian, Italian, Danish, Czech, Brazilien, Greek and etc.
AND, there are variety of functions which will to fulfill your demand.
Initially, you should download the function lists, which enabled notepad++ to offer you the list of languages(C, C++, Php, Asp, Html, Java and etc.)
And there are still a lot of functions, you download on your will.
Do download the API files, or you can generate an API yourself.
With this, Auto-completion can be done for most supported languages.

Notepad++ is tabbed based editor, so you can open many documents in a executed Notepad++.
You can have many views at same time. This enables you can edit 2 different documents at the same time. Screenshot is Here.
And, you can download source files of Notepad++, and improve it or modify it to become more efficient(Hotkey or something else).

Remember, Notepad++ is small in size, unlike dreamweaver, you don't have to own a massive-size program to help you script, Notepad++, at least can perform some simple functions.
