Infor ++: Google Web Accelerator

Lately I was dissatisfied of the speed of internet provided by streamyx(an ISP company in Malaysia, Land of Boleh)
So, try some accelerator is the only alternative for me, since I do not want to change ISP.(It's messy for the procedure.)
Alright, this post talks about Google Web Accelerator(GWA), which is defined as the best Web Accelerator.

GWA is different, mostly web accelerators provide caches on your PC, GWA uses caching on it's own web servers to accelerate pages browsing.
Not only that, GWA uses a lot of other ways to speed your speed to surf, like compression of html pages and pre-fetching links.
GWA installs into IE & Mozilla Firefox browsers automatically, and can be configured to work with other browsers manually as well.
Due to privacy of user, the accelerator will stop working when you connect to a secure sites, like internet banking and etc.

By the way, this programs has some limitations.
It is only available in Windows 2000 SP3+, XP and Vista.
And this software is optimized for broadband, thus modem users may experience little or no gain.
The system currently works best in USA and Europe, users located in other area will see only a little benefit.(Unfortunately, I live in Malaysia.)

Most of users agreed that the software will speed up their surfing quality in the range of 10% to 40%. Awesome, is it?
This software is too FREE, it provides at no cost.
So, you can have a try on it, if you feel that it has no help on your surfing quality, just uninstalls it.

Note: There is a bug for Vista user, but you can too have a try, whether it works, or not.
